Day programs in Victoria’s High Country r!

YMCA Howmans Gap Alpine Centre has put together an action packed program of activities for school aged children and young people this summer.

This day program of events has something for everyone with canoeing, tennis, bushwalking, bush art and bush cooking or abseiling, climbing wall, giant swing, high ropes or mountain biking on the Falls Creek trails for the more adventurous. All activities are led by qualified outdoor specialists with industry leading ratios and a focus on safety and fun

Age: Primary and/or Secondary School aged children and young people

Lake Guy, Bogong Village; Windy Corner & Falls Creek

YMCA Open Doors will also be supporting a bus shuttle service from Mount Beauty each day (If required and pre booked)

Cost: $65 – $75 per child / day

Financial access to support disadvantaged families is available through YMCA Open Doors funding.

What to bring:

A packed lunch (fruit & healthy snacks provided) • Water bottle • Wide-brimmed hat • Sunscreen (lip balm also if desired) • Insect repellant if desired • appropriate clothing (long shorts or pants, short or long-sleeved T-shirt, runners) • Jumper and rain jacket in case of cool or wet weather • Enthusiasm and a smile :)
